Broan Gable Mount Power Attic Ventilator
Easy to install (not in the summer) and seems to work well. It is a little louder then I had thought, but you don't hear it in the house at all. Only when you are outside can you hear it.
Excellent and quiet
Love this fan set-up......easy to install.
Make sure you spin the fan before final installation...one of the perimeter screws
contacted the fan blades.....so I trimmed the screw about 1/8" with a hacksaw.
Works great...dropped my attic temp from 125 to outdoor temp of 90-95 here in FL...well
worth the investment...and based on my KWH cost of 12 cents per KWH......takes about 40 cents
per day....5-6 hr run time to cool the attic....cheap way to vent a hot attic.
Good fan
Reasonably well-built. Reasonably quiet. Very inexpensive. 2 of my 3 previous ones had the bearings fail after about 5 years, of 10 hour a day use. Not bad. These make a big difference keeping the house cool. I have 1 in each of 2 attics, and 1 in the garage. These things help the AC cool the house a lot, especially on the 100 deg days. I mounted mine with rubber isolation mounts that help keep the vibrations ( and noise) from the house.
GREAT FAN
GREAT FAN (SO FAR). temp in attic over 120+ degrees, installed fan and after one day of running lowered heat to under 110 where it is set at. see a marked diff. inside house. the reason for (so far) is this will be my third fan. the other two lasted less then two years.
both motors failed. my house is approx. 1400 sq feet and this fan, so far, seems to easily remove the hot air in a timely manner
Great Investment
Easy install. Bout a 1500 Sq ft home in So Cal and has kept us comfortable when over 100 degrees outside. Great investment.
