Air Vent, Inc - Whole House Ventilation

Whole-house fans are used in mild sumertime conditions or to augment air conditioning. They are installed in a central hallway to pull fresh air through open windows. Warmer, stale air is vented away through the attic.

A belt drive fan has a motor mounted just above and to the side of the fan resulting in smoother, quieter operation. It has a 2-speed wall switch.

All whole-house units come with an automatic shutter and complete installation instructions.

If house square footage exceeds recommendation, the fan still ventilates but with a lower air change rate.

Installed in the gable end of the house, the 1320 CFM unit has a thermostat to help prevent heat buildup. A humidistat is also included in 1620 CFM Model to fight moisture buildup inside the attic. A shutter is required to complete installation.

It operates 30% more quietly than comparable units and with 35% greater efficiency. Many homes already feature a gable or gable vent, it may not be necessary to cut a hole to install the ventilator.

Solar Power Gable Fan

The fan requires no electrical hook-up. No electrician or complicated wiring it's fast and easy. The fan mounts in the gable behind a decorative shutter. The solar panel is on a bracket, and can be mounted on the roof or an exterior wall. The bracket allows the solar panel to be tilted toward the sun to maximize energy collection. A simple plug-in to the solar panel is all that is required, plus a shutter.

The solar panel collects energy and converts it into "free" power - providing ventilation during daylight hours, when it's needed most. It creates up to 800 cubic feet of air movement per minute to remove uncomfortable heat in the summer and damaging moisture in the winter. And, the solar panel is wind, hail and impact-resistant.

With balanced motor and blade design, power vents quickly exhaust heat or humidity from any attic.
They work on a thermostat, which automatically turns the fan on when cooling is needed. Most also have a humidistat that monitors the moisture level of the air. One power attic ventilator is usually sufficient, unless it's a very large attic.

The solar panel is on a bracket, allowing it to be tilted or rotated to the south or west for maximum sun exposure and optimal energy collection. And, because it's a single unit, it's easier to install.

This unit provides up to 800 CFM for attics to 1200 square feet. It operates during the day when your attic requires more air movement - from sunrise to sunset.
